Terms and Conditions
Payment – The £60 Studio Fee is payable at the time of confirming your booking. Your booking will not be added to the studio calendar until this payment is received. At least 3 weeks before the party you should book the craft activities via the parties section of the studio shop.
Cancellation – The Studio Fee is non-refundable as once an event is confirmed materials etc are ordered. In the very unlikely event that I must cancel your booking (this would only happen for reasons outside of my control) a full refund will be given.I cannot except liability travel or other costs.
The most up to date version of the Studio's Coronavirus Policy can be found here. Please read and ensure you are happy with this before booking.
The Studio and Accessibility - The studio can be found in the grounds of Whitehall Garden Centre, Woodborough (SN9 5PF). There is ample free parking on site, including next to the unit (drive into the car park – drive straight on and then bear left at the top of the car park – following the Paper and Smiles signs). The car park is gravel and there is level access into the studio via double doors. There is access to a toilet (which belongs to another business) via a single steep step. There is an outside seating area enclosed by picket fencing - this can be closed for additional safety.
Adult Supervision - For Pre-School and reception aged children – Although the crafts will be suitable for pre-schoolers, most will need the help of a grown up and therefore I ask that an adult accompanies each pre-school aged child (numbers will need to be reduced inline with current Government guidelines. For school age children - At least one adult from the host party must stay for the entire duration of the party, more grown-ups are welcome to stay however sometimes too many adults staying can distract from the activities and make it very difficult for me to keep the childrens attention, I therefore encourage you to avoid more than a couple of extra grown-ups staying – you will know the children and parents that are attending so I will leave this to your discretion. There is the garden centre and several other shops and cafes on site to keep the grown-ups entertained for an hour or two while the children enjoy the party. Generally, the parties will be two hours long, allowing the last 30 minutes for you to have a party lunch/tea. You will be responsible for the children during this time. Please can I ask that you ensure the children are respectful to the studio (which is also a shop) during this time.
Use of the Kitchen – You are very welcome to bring your own food and drink (including alcohol) to the studio for you party – a list of equipment available in the studio for your use is attached, all I ask is that you wash up anything you use at the end of the party 😊 Don’t forget your napkins and candles!!I will provide you with a bin bag for any rubbish from the event – please take this away with you at the end.
Completion of booking is also acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
