Please find some of the most frequently asked questions below – if your question is not answered here please do not hesitate to get in touch!

How do I book a space on a workshop?

You can book onto all the workshops available at www.paperandsmiles.co.uk, if you are unsure you can also drop me an email to book – kirsty@paperandsmiles.co.uk

Who can come to a workshop?

I try to make sure that all workshops are suitable for (or can be adapted to be) all ages and abilities, the workshop description will have details of any restrictions on ages.  Please purchase a ticket for each person attending the workshop.

Can I leave children at a workshop?

At least one adult must accompany children attending a workshop for the entire workshop, there’s usually the chance for grown ups to have a complimentary cuppa and a catch up while the crafting is taking place.

Do I need to bring anything?

Unless stated in the workshop description the answer is no, everything you need is usually provided.  If you are attending a lampshade making workshop you will need to bring your own fabric (the full details of this will be in the workshop listing).

Do you host private parties and workshops?

Absolutely – I am always delighted to help you arrange private workshops, groups and parties – please email me (kirsty@paperandsmiles.co.uk) to discuss

Is there parking onsite?

Yes – The studio can be found in the grounds of Whitehall Garden Centre, Woodborough (SN9 5PF). There is ample free parking on site, including next to the unit (drive into the car park – drive straight on and then bear left at the top of the car park – following the Paper and Smiles signs).

How Accessible is the Studio?

The car park at the garden centre is gravel – there is a slight slope into the studio with a small lip on the door to the studio (this can be opened to a double door).  The studio has access to a toilet which belongs to a neighbouring business.  Access to the toilet is via a single steep step from inside the studio.

Do you teach workshops outside of the Studio?

Absolutely – If you would be interested in me coming to your school, workplace or home for a workshop please get in touch – I would be delighted to help you – Kirsty@paperandsmiles.co.uk

I can no longer come to the workshop that I’ve booked a space for, can I get a refund?

You may be able to get a refund.  The full terms and conditions are included in each workshop listing online – they are also included in the “what to expect” instant download that you will have received in the email confirmation.  The full T&Cs can also be viewed by clicking here..
